This is a long overdue blog post that I was supposed to write years ago. Having worked in the tech industry for over 2 decades and I had several attempts to try and write a blog about things that I am interested in.
As you will soon find out, my interest areas are pretty broad and I tend to switch focus from one area to another. It was quite common in tech to throw yourself into the hot things – networking, virtualization, programming, big data, blockchain, raspberry pi DIY, Kubernetes (to name a few). I constantly feel like I need to start a new blog every time I took interest in something new.
Eventually, I come to peace with who I am. A person that’s easily distracted to chase the hottest topic, someone with way too many hobbies and end up not able to master any one of it. But also someone with a great level of curiosity to try and figure out what people are talking about. So I thought I would use this blog to document the latest things I am into as a record for my own and amuse whoever stumbles across this site.
One thing that is consistent throughout my tech journey is the love of coffee (hence the name of the blog: a techie and a coffee lover).
